Art Deco Design
The interior of the Palace Theatre maintains its historic dignity in Art Deco design. The theater has a large stage and orchestra pit, featuring a Smith-Geneva pipe organ installed in 1926. This organ is still in working order and is played today for special occasions and performances. It is the only theater organ in the United States that remains in its original home. Pictured are the balconies and stage footlights. Beneath the stage is a series of dressing and prop rooms.
